Another pot stock is gearing up to hit the U.S. market, as Aphria Inc. confirmed Tuesday it will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Nov. 2.

The Leamington, Ont.-based cannabis producer indicated its intention to list on the U.S. exchange on Oct. 18.

Aphria will trade on the NYSE under ticker symbol APHA. The company said it will also change its Toronto Stock Exchange symbol from APH on Friday to match its U.S. ticker symbol.

Aphria is the latest Canadian producer to make its way onto a Wall Street exchange. Other companies such as Canopy Growth Corp. and Aurora Cannabis Inc. already trade on the NYSE, while Cronos Group Inc. trades on the Nasdaq.
