British Airways has suspended flights to Beijing and Shanghai after the U.K. government advised against non-essential travel to China because of the deadly coronavirus outbreak.

The airline, owned by IAG SA, operates one daily flight each from London Heathrow to Beijing and Shanghai, according to a spokeswoman. These have been suspended pending further guidance from government officials. Flights to Hong Kong are unaffected, she said Wednesday.

All U.K.-based staff that were in China are being brought home, she said.
