These are the 15 fastest-growing jobs in Canada, according to LinkedIn

Many of the fastest-growing jobs in Canada involve technology like artificial intelligence, according to a new report from LinkedIn.

“AI is reshaping every stage of the employment journey — and many workers are trying to figure out how to stay ahead,” LinkedIn said in the report. “With so much in flux, identifying pockets of opportunity matters more than ever.”

Based on LinkedIn user data, the annual “Jobs on the Rise Report” ranks the 15 fastest-growing jobs in Canada over the past three years.

“This year’s list points to continued momentum in both technical and strategic AI roles, including AI engineers and AI consultants, alongside infrastructure-focused roles like commissioning managers,” LinkedIn said.

Other top jobs include health care, construction and sales roles. According to LinkedIn, these are the 15 fastest-growing jobs in Canada:

1. AI engineers develop and implement AI models.

2. AI consultants and strategists help organizations use AI technologies.

3. Power systems engineers design and evaluate electrical systems.

4. AI/machine learning researchers work to improve AI systems.

5. Commissioning managers test and validate construction and engineering projects.

6. Chief product officers lead product development and strategy for companies.

7. Clinical services managers supervise health-care clinic operations.

8. Fraud investigators work to detect, prevent and address fraud in organizations.

9. Construction managers oversee construction projects.

10. Founders turn ideas into new businesses.

11. Car sales managers run daily operations at car dealerships.

12. Cardiologists diagnose and treat heart conditions.

13. IT support specialists maintain IT systems.

14. Psychotherapists provide mental health counselling and therapeutic support.

15. Database analysts manage and analyze data at organizations.
