OTTAWA — Canada’s annual inflation rate was 2.8 per cent in June, Statistics Canada says. Here’s what happened in the provinces (previous month in brackets):
- Newfoundland and Labrador: 3.8 per cent (4.4)
- Prince Edward Island: 3.8 per cent (3.8)
- Nova Scotia: 4.7 per cent (5.2)
- New Brunswick: 3.8 per cent (4.7)
- Quebec: 3.2 per cent (3.6)
- Ontario: 2.0 per cent (2.6)
- Manitoba: 4.0 per cent (4.6)
- Saskatchewan: 4.0 per cent (4.4)
- Alberta: 3.4 per cent (3.7)
- British Columbia: 2.8 per cent (2.9)
