(Bloomberg) -- Media mogul Barry Diller hinted to reporters at the annual Sun Valley Conference on Wednesday that he may still be interested in making a bid for Paramount Global.

On Monday, Paramount announced it had agreed to merge with Skydance Media in a deal handing control of the storied Hollywood studio to producer David Ellison. The agreement gave the sellers 45 days to seek better offers.

Diller, the chairman of the digital media company IAC Inc., told reporters that 45 days is “a lifetime.”
