TORONTO — MDA Space Ltd. recorded a $27.9 million profit in its second quarter as its revenue climbed almost 34 per cent from a year earlier.

The Toronto-based space technology company says its net income compared with earnings of $27.2 million a year prior.

Its profit for the period ended June 30 amounted to 20 cents per diluted share, compared with 21 cents in its previous second quarter.

On an adjusted basis, MDA says it earned 36 cents per diluted share in its latest quarter, unchanged from the same quarter last year.

Revenue for the quarter totalled $498.6 million, up from $373.3 million in the second quarter of 2025.

MDA says the revenue increase was spurred by higher volumes of work across all of its businesses.
