SASKATOON — Cameco Corp. reported a third-quarter profit attributable to equity holders of $43 million as its revenue edged up compared with a year ago.

The uranium miner says the profit amounted to 10 cents per diluted share for the quarter ended Sept. 30 compared with a break even result in the same quarter last year.

Revenue totalled $619 million for the quarter, up from $615 million a year ago.

On an adjusted basis, Cameco reported a loss of $2 million or zero cents per diluted share compared with an adjusted profit of $32 million or seven cents per diluted share a year earlier.

Cameco says its results for the quarter and first nine months of the year were generally lower than in 2025, primarily due to lower equity earnings from its investment in Westinghouse, as well as lower sales volumes and higher average unit cost of sales.

The company says those factors were partially offset by higher realized prices.
