Today, Canadians across the country will pause to remember the veterans who have fought in service of our country.

To mark the occasion, CTV News’ Chief News Anchor Omar Sachedina is hosting special coverage of the National Remembrance Day Ceremony in Ottawa from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST.

Coverage will be streamed live on CTVNews.ca, the CTV News app, and CP24.com and the CP24 app. It will also be broadcast on CTV News Channel, CTV and CTV2.

Commencing at the National War Memorial, the ceremony features the Veterans’ Marching Contingent and two minutes of silence to honour all who have served, and will conclude with the placing of wreaths and a veteran march-off.
