Olivia Chow was re-elected as Toronto’s mayor on Monday night, defeating Brad Bradford by more than 127,000 votes.

Chow appears to have captured 54 per cent of the vote, with more than 99 per cent of all polls reporting.

Meanwhile, several other incumbent mayors elsewhere in the GTHA have been defeated.

The CP24-CTV Election Desk is projecting that city councillor Alvin Tedjo defeated incumbent Carolyn Parrish in the race for Mississauga’s mayor. In Hamilton, Keanin Loomis defeated Andrea Horwath, who finished a distant third.
