Exxon Mobil Expects $2 Billion Cost From Europe Windfall Taxes

(Bloomberg) -- Exxon Mobil Corp. said windfall profit taxes imposed by European governments could cost at least $2 billion through the end of 2023. 

The estimate “depends on a country-by-country implementation of specific legislation,” Chief Financial Officer Kathy Mikells said Thursday in a presentation to investors.
