Trident Resources, ticker symbol is ROCK on the TSXV. We’re a $30 million market cap company with an enterprise value of around $18 million. We trade for between 10 and 12 oz per in-situ gold in the ground.
We recently announced a very exciting 5,000m program at our flagship Contact Lake Gold Project. For those of you that don’t recall, Contact Lake is a former chemical-producing mine in Saskatchewan. It mined between 1994-1998. It mined almost 200,000 oz of gold at a head grade of 6-7 g/t.
The program is 5,000m. It should last for the next several weeks. The company has been drilling for the last few weeks, so we are well underway. Assay results will be expected over the coming weeks as well. And the purpose of the drill program is really threefold. It’s to confirm historical mineralization. Number two, expand known gold zones, and three, test newly-defined targets.
This is the first time that Contact Lake has been drilled in almost 30 years. Contact Lake is just one of five deposits in our portfolio, all in Saskatchewan. This is an extraordinarily fast-growing company with extremely exciting exploration programs, both at present and in the coming months.
We are trading at a very deep discount to many of our peers, so a lot of great news flow on the go. A very exciting program here in Saskatchewan, and that’s the general update on Trident Resources.
