Geordie Mark, CEO and Director of Blue Jay Gold Corp. (TSXV: JAY | OTCQB: JAYGF | FSE: JAY), discusses the gold explorer’s progress at the Steller Gold Project, which he describes as a new high-grade gold story in the Yukon near Whitehorse. With first drill results from Skukum Creek and antimony metallurgical work at Becker-Cochran both delivering this year, Blue Jay is positioning Steller to capitalize on investor interest in high-grade gold and critical minerals.
Road-accessible, high-grade gold near Whitehorse sets Blue Jay Gold’s Steller project apart
Steller stands out for its combination of grade and access. The project is an hour and 15 minutes’ drive from Whitehorse, and all drilling is conducted from road-accessible drill pads. The company’s first drill results at Skukum Creek came back strong, extending the known system at depth.
“Drill results show resources open to depth, high-grade intervals at 10 grams AuEq over 10 metres, fantastic in extending the system that we see,” says Geordie Mark, CEO of Blue Jay Gold.
Road access and existing infrastructure help keep exploration efficient, while antimony offers a potential critical mineral pathway.
High-grade gold and antimony give Blue Jay Gold investors exposure to two key markets
With gold and critical minerals both drawing investor attention, Blue Jay Gold is positioned to offer exposure to each. Alongside high-grade gold at Skukum Creek, metallurgical work at the Becker-Cochran antimony prospect is generating a concentrate whose quality Mark describes as outstanding. By focusing on high-grade gold with a potential antimony component, all within road access of Whitehorse, the company aims to give investors early-stage exposure to a district that is still being defined.
Skukum Creek structural corridor drilling defines Blue Jay Gold’s 2027 growth plans
Recent milestones include the first drill results at Skukum Creek and antimony metallurgical results at Becker-Cochran. Looking ahead, 2027 is set to build on this year’s work, with a strong focus on the Skukum Creek structural corridor.
Mark says, “We see potential to add additional defined mineralization from drilling, probably at a much larger pace than we delivered this year.” Investors can watch for drilling along the corridor and the growth of defined mineralization as key markers of progress.
As Blue Jay Gold continues to advance the Steller Gold Project, it stands at the intersection of high-grade gold exploration and growing demand for critical minerals such as antimony. With road-accessible drilling and a system open to depth, the company is positioned to deliver disciplined growth in the Yukon.

Geordie Mark: Blue Jay Gold. It’s a new high-grade gold story in the Yukon. It’s close to Whitehorse, just an hour and 15 minutes’ drive away, and all drilling is conducted from road-accessible drill pads.
Drill results and antimony metallurgy are just outstanding. We couldn’t have wanted more. Drill results show resources open to depth, high-grade intervals at 10 grams [AuEq] over 10 metres, fantastic in extending the system that we see.
Antimony, the metallurgical results are outstanding in terms of the quality of the concentrate that we’re generating. I haven’t seen anything like that across the world in the last 10 years.
Next year really embraces and leverages what we’ve done already, and we see a lot of focus being on the Skukum Creek structural corridor. We see a lot of potential to add additional defined mineralization from drilling, probably at a much larger pace than we delivered this year.
