(Bloomberg) -- Emmanuel Macron has so far refused to confirm that he’ll be running for re-election in April. But his campaign already has a website.

Avecvous2022.fr, which means “with you,” was quietly put online earlier this week. Its registration details show that it belongs to the French leader’s LREM party.

The site doesn’t mention Macron or even the election, and says it aims to “discover the voice of the French and be heard.” It features photos, polished videos and interviews with French citizens, from a retired women and a farmer in southern France to a teacher in the northeast.

A disclaimer reads:

A press officer confirmed the site was created by LREM and said the point is to put the preoccupations of the French at the front and center of the campaign.

She added that it was built independently because Macron is busy running the country.

In a bid to appear statesmanlike for as long as possible, Macron is holding off on announcing his candidacy for the election that starts on April 10. But his teams have been organizing his campaign for months, and some staffers at the presidential palace are now working for his party.

Polls consistently give Macron about 25% of votes in the first round, and suggest that in the run-off he could face far-right leader Marine Le Pen or traditional right-wing candidate Valerie Pecresse.

In a sign he believes the race might be tight, Macron has recently been courting rural voters to add to his traditional base of affluent, urban residents.
