(Bloomberg) -- Qatar Airways, which is continuing to operate a third of its normal schedule, has taken a “huge hit” from the coronavirus.

“With the Covid-19, we have seen a huge drop, of as much as 80% in our revenues,” Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said in a Bloomberg TV interview.

The airline doesn’t plan to reduce flights further. “We still have very heavy loads one way and reduced loads on the directional way,” he said. The average load factor is in the high 60s, he said.
