Sigma Lithium is currently developing the largest hard rock lithium deposits in the Americas

The company aims to become one of the world's largest, lowest-cost producers of high-purity, environmentally sustainable lithium products to enable electric vehicle industry growth

Sigma Lithium Corp. (TSXV:SGM) is well-positioned to play a key role in the sustainable development of battery metals for the electric vehicle revolution. The company's mission to become one of the largest, lowest cost, and lowest carbon producers of environmentally sustainable lithium products has led it to be named one of this year's Venture 50 winners.

The company is developing the largest hard rock lithium deposits in the Americas, located in its wholly-owned Grota do Cirilo Project in Brazil. Sigma Lithium holds 27 mineral rights on four properties spreading over 191 km², including nine past-producing lithium mines.

Taking corporate social responsibility and sustainability to the next level, the company’s business practices are founded on the principles of creating economic, social and environmental value over the long term. In line with its vision to be a global leader in lithium extraction, processing and supply chain management, Sigma's stake mine operations will be powered entirely by clean energy while the mining process itself will leave a minimal unavoidable residual carbon footprint on the environment through water recirculation circuits coupled with dry tailings management.

As the world shifts towards a net zero pathway, the demand for electric vehicles will only increase. Sigma Lithium is fully equipped to produce technologically purified battery-grade lithium concentrate for the batteries that power the industry.
