Tim Hortons is aiming to capitalize on National Doughnut Day with a limited-edition food mash-up: the Honey Dip Donut Breakfast Sandwich.
It’s on offer at all Tim Hortons locations Friday during breakfast hours, for one morning only.
Tim Hortons deliberated for months over which doughnut to use for the promotion before settling on the honey dip, according to the press release.
Customers can enter to win free doughnuts for a year by taking a selfie with the doughnut breakfast sandwich — "or their favourite Tims donut” — and then posting it to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #TimsGoesDonuts and tagging @TimHortons.
