U.K.’s Prince of Wales has tested positive for coronavirus, Press Association reported on Wednesday, citing the Royal Palace.

He has been displaying mild symptoms, but is otherwise in good health, the report said, citing a Clarence House spokesman. The Duchess of Cornwall does not have the virus. Both are now self-isolating at their home in Scotland.

It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks, the spokesman is quoted as saying.

The Prince of Wales is 71 years old and therefore is seen as part of a high risk group, according World Health Organization guidance.

The U.K. government earlier today decided to shut down Parliament for four weeks from Wednesday night to slow the spread of coronavirus. The U.K. had until Tuesday 8,077 confirmed cases of coronavirus, with 422 deaths reported.
