(Bloomberg) -- Vodafone Qatar QSC obtained 911 million riyals ($250 million) in financing to help accelerate the phone operator’s fixed-line service rollout and 5G deployment in the country.

The revolving credit facility from Barwa Bank is available over six years, Vodafone Qatar said in a statement. The rollout will make Qatar one of the first countries in the world to have 5G services, it said.
