After B.C. proposed regulations that could limit the flow of Alberta oil sands crude through B.C., Alberta backed away from plans to purchase hundreds of millions of dollars of B.C. electricity. The tit-for-tat moves from Canada’s two westernmost provinces are raising fears that more sectors could be targeted.
