(Bloomberg) -- Old Faithful, the trademark geyser at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, scalded a woman causing second- and third-degree burns, the National Park Service said.
The woman, age 19, a concession worker, was injured Thursday and flown to a hospital burn unit, a park service statement said. Scalding water pools below Old Faithful’s surface.
