(Bloomberg) -- Walmart Inc. is buying 233 megawatts of power from three wind projects in Illinois and Indiana under development by the North American unit of EDP Renovaveis SA.

The deals comprise 123 megawatts of capacity from the 205-megawatt Bright Stalk wind farm and 50 megawatts from the 200-megawatt Harvest Ridge project in Illinois, and 60 megawatts from the 200-megawatt Headwaters II plant in Indiana, according to a statement Tuesday.

EDP announced deals to sell power from the wind farms earlier this year without identifying the buyers.
