(Bloomberg) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. agreed to pay $850,000 to settle allegations over failures to report swap transactions, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission said in a statement.

  • JPMorgan neglected to report around 2.1 million short-dated foreign-exchange swap transactions between September 2015 and February 2020, the CFTC said. That’s more than 50% of the total FX swaps the bank conducted in the period.
  • The order notes that JPMorgan said it has reported all of the previously unreported transactions. A bank spokesperson declined to comment.
  • Also Tuesday, the CFTC fined BNP Paribas SA $6 million to settle charges over swap reporting and daily mark disclosures.
