(Bloomberg) -- India stocks tumbled for a sixth day on mounting concern about the economic impact of novel coronavirus on the world’s second-most populous nation.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex sank 2.6% to 38,714.42 as of 9:18 a.m. in Mumbai, with th measure set for its worst week since February 2016. India has so far reported three confirmed people with coronavirus, all of whom have since recovered, but thousands are under observation.
