(Bloomberg) -- Ivanka Trump has been asked to submit to an interview by the House panel investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol on what she saw or heard about efforts to obstruct Congress’s counting of electoral votes.

In a letter to Donald Trump’s daughter Thursday, the committee says it is investigating the former president’s activities and conduct in the days after January 6, including his “state of mind,” and whether the former president took appropriate action regarding the continuing threats of violence.

The committee’s chairman, Representative Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, lists several topics of interest, including any conversations she “may have witnessed or participated in regarding the President’s plan to obstruct or impede the counting of electoral votes.”
