(Bloomberg) -- Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman talked about OPEC+ by phone ahead of the alliance’s committee meeting on Wednesday.

The two leaders discussed “cooperation within OPEC+ to provide the stability of global oil market,” according to a Kremlin statement on Monday. They also discussed bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic and energy sectors.

The phone call happened just two days before an advisory committee of ministers from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies meet to review production policy. Last week, delegates from the group said privately that they don’t expect the panel to recommend any changes.
