(Bloomberg) -- Gregory and Amy Colburn, two parents indicted in the national college cheating scandal, say the charges against them should be dismissed because the government has failed show how they engaged in a single conspiracy with 17 other indicted parents.

The Palo Alto, California, couple are the first to formally challenge the government’s indictment, filed by federal prosecutors in Boston.
