(Bloomberg) -- Iowa’s Democratic Party chairman said the problems with the reporting of Monday’s presidential caucuses were “unacceptable,” but said the party has taken the necessary time and care to ensure that the results being released Tuesday afternoon are accurate.

The initial tranche of results being released at 5 p.m. ET will come from 62% of the state’s precincts in all 99 of Iowa’s counties, said Troy Price, the party chairman.

“As chair of the party I apologize deeply for this,” Price said.
